Financial Manager / Senior Accountant / Accountant
Work Scope:
• Provision of financial accounting, management reporting and business partnering support for the Residential and Industrial Business Parks real estate components.
• Ensure timely month-end closing and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Oversee the preparation of a range of items, including management reports, financial statements for audit purposes.
• Oversee preparation of documents for tax, budgeting, forecasting and credit review matters.
• Involved in the preparation of financial statement for audit, handling tax matters, budgeting and forecasting.
• Producing of VAT returns accurately and within HMRC deadlines.
• Producing month-end/quarterly/year-end reports on Excel for the CEO and stakeholders.
• Responsible for all cashflow reporting.
• Responsible for balance sheets and profit/loss statements for a portfolio of companies.
• Producing year-end accounts for auditors.
• Balance sheet reconciliations.
• Responsible for all the company’s payment management and employee salary distribution.
• Responsible for the statistics of the company’s industrial park operating income and the payment of invoices, and contact the external operating company’s accounting to deal with the corresponding matters.
• Contact an external professional financial consultant.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Qualified Accountant with up to 3 years post qualified experience (ACCA/CIMA/ACA),
Minimum of 3 years at least accounting experience within real estate/developer/property company.
• High level of Excel skills and ability to work with large financial models.
• Handling and understanding VAT returns.
• Good knowledge of local accounting standards and IFRS.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to interface with colleagues internally and remotely.
• Competent working in a fast-paced environment and producing work to a high standard.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Accounting experience that has been involved in the complete real estate residential development process would be advantageous.
